The Client

Valerie was a member at F45 when they first popped up in her area and fell in love with it, so much so that she bought her own F45 studio with her business partner in January 2019. She manages the club’s operations, marketing and also trains clients 4 days a week. It’s safe to say, Valerie is a machine!


The Challenge

She started off with excel spreadsheets, but it didn’t take long before that was too hard to keep up with. Sheets have no reminders or follow-ups, and her team would have to use colour coding to try and remember to keep in contact with leads. After more columns were added it became overwhelming and things were missed.


The Solution

After dealing with the headaches of spreadsheets they had to figure out a better way. Together they defined their needs and tried a few CRMs but just didn’t love them. Then they found GymLeads which instantly improved their sales process.

What do you love most about GymLeads?

The task list and lead history. I can’t tell you how many times GymLeads has reminded me to follow up and when I call them I can see the previous call notes that they had an injury or recently had a baby etc. When I bring that up with them they are so impressed. They feel listened to, and that’s invaluable!

What other tools do you use?

We like the 4-step sales pipeline to separate hot leads who sign up right away, then others who need more time. In the past we’d follow up with them all the same way, but now we can focus our attention on the warmer leads knowing that GymLeads is automatically sending gentle reminders to the colder leads.

What member management do you use?

We use MindBody for our member management so the integration that GymLeads has with them is really useful because we don’t have to do any double handling. We also use GymLeads for reminder emails to prevent leads from not showing up and to give them a bit of a run-down of what to expect.

How easy was it to learn?

It’s pretty self-explanatory, I found it easy. The funnels and automation took a little more to understand but once I did, everything else like the templates and other things was really ‘plug and play’.  I also felt supported by the customer service team 100%, they’re always fast, friendly and helpful.
