A lesson in the effectiveness of automated messaging

Automated messaging, or as we call them – funnels, are an extremely useful but often under-utilised feature that GymLeads offers. To prove how effective funnels can be, this week I caught up with Rory from 360 Fitness Group, Gordonvale and asked him what funnels he has created since he signed up 5 months ago. So Rory, what automations have you got in your arsenal?

Web Lead New Enquiry – an email and an SMS as soon as a new web lead enquires thanking them for their enquiry and giving information about the club and current offers.

Casual Visits – 360 Fitness Group uses our FRONT DESK KIOSK as a casual visit check-in app. Leads who first check in on this app receive an email and an SMS welcoming them and giving information about the club and prompting them to sign up for a long-term membership.

Follow-Up After First Call – 2 messages a few days apart, triggered after one of 360’s sales team has had their first successful call with an active lead.

New Member Sign Up – an email and an SMS as soon as lead signs up and becomes a member welcoming them and giving information about their membership.

Member Touch Base (Infinite) – a message to members every month of the year that repeats each year. This contains emails and SMS’s that request feedback, promote 360’s referral program, provides nutrition tips, workout plans, and general check-ins.

Happy Birthday Free PT Session – a birthday offer of a free PT session for ALL leads and members, regardless of status.

Inactive Nurturing – a gentle email every month for six months after a lead is marked as inactive in the hopes that they re-enquire.

Canceled – A message as soon as a member cancels their membership.
